Prof. Haihua PAN received his PhD from the Univerisy of Texas at Austin, USA and MA from Wuhan Universtiy, China. He came to City University of Hong Kong in July 1995. Previously he taught at Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan, China, and was a Research Associate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published two research books on Chinese reflexives and formal semantics, and edited one on Chinese linguistics. He is a reviewer of prestigious international journals such as Linguistic Inquiry, Natural Language and Linguistic Theory, Linguistics, Journal of Linguistics, Natural Language Semantics, Journal of East Asian Linguistics, etc.
